I am pleased to anounce the first version of my mod. Its more of a beta though, it has been rushed out very quickly and their are a few rough area's still.

This mod at the moment reususe the vanilla map but it makes the egyptian faction better historiclly represented. ( No more 3000 year old chariots ) They are now more like the seleucids, complete new unit rooster for all civilised factions and new strat models. Will soon move on to completey new barbarian rooster as well but a few factions willalready have soom new units.

A list of the changes:
Complete new unit rooster for Rome, carthage, Egypt, Seleucid empire, macedon, greekcities, pontus
New strat map models for all the Greek factions, Rome and Carthage
The roman factions can attack each other from the start which cripples them at the start so they don't expand for long time
Made Seleucid empire more stronger to survive and Egypt more weaker
Slight changes and units for all the barbarian factions and Parthia
Retextured and skinned the mercenaries so they are no longer green
Gave Greek phanlanx short pike attribute so they are more realistic and graphically pleasing
Lightly touched battlefield graphics to have more grass and more realistic trees

Things to look for in the next version:

Complete revision to the already brilliant skins
New units and strat map models for the barbarians
Complete graphical overhaul for the battlefield
New boat strat map models
Some UI bug fixes to be implemented
Working on own self-made animation pack
New map stretching a bit further east for the parthians to fit in
New cities
New fort and watchtower models
Replace bruti faction with eperios
Replace scipi faction with Illyria
Replace spqr faction with Syracuse
Create faction Pergamum
will be adding many more settlements around sicily and turkey for the new factions to expand
Will be adding many more in Greece to create a total mayhem like war
Hopefully will add factions like Athens, corinth, Sparta, meseane, Thebes and Larissa
Will end up with one roman faction
Many more ancillaries and traits
The idea of the upcoming update is to keep the same kind of small map but fill it more thoroughly with settlements that may have not it on mods such as EB and RTR such as cities as aggrigentum in Sicily and the island of malta

There are still a few problems, for instance the UI cards for Carthage still look the same as they were in vannila but this will be addressed in the next version.

I know this deffinatly works on mac but i am not sure about windows yet as i had a few problems when i ran it on windows. Download it though and have a go. If you find any fixes do post reason.

I am working on a windows specific but i f u want to wait it probably be around march as i will probably implement it for Mod 0.87.

by the way the mods real size is 303 mb hd trouble converting size sorry
