Welcome to this newest version of TLR.

This version keeps the promises made on it from the previous TLR 2.4 thread in the TLR forum.

One thing that needs attention is that not all factions will horde. This will corrected in the patch...enjoy the aggressive slave AI. Also I believe I have finally solved the CTD issue. Other than that enjoy all the new features that came with 2.3 and some newer ones now in 2.4

Install - extract files into Medieval II Total War folder...play - it is standalone...make a copy of the .bat file for your desktop.

Troubleshooting:
I extract, launch, and from the grand campaign menu, enter into dead end of: select country (Denmark), continue, get dumped backwards to the Single player menu wherein grand campaign is unresponsive.

When I attempt to download I get the following page
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IBELCN0T

Why is the service unavailable in my area? What is my area, do they mean Asia where I live?

This link goes to Megaupload, the file will not complete downloading and cuts off, with a message that I must pay to complete the download. Is there anyplace to download this without paying?

I have downloaded this mod and so far I have enjoyed it immensely. However, when I choose to fight a battle myself I get a weird real time battle map. Specifically the area of the map that contains your unit cards is all white and I cannot see a single unit card in that area. Everything else looks and acts as it should. Has anyone experienced this type of issue or fault? If so, do you have any recommendations to fix it? If not, any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance.

Way over rated, pain-in-the neck install, not even close to the best Medieval 2 mod; If you are a newb like me try Stainless steel 6.3 w/ 6.4 patch and recruitment mods if u desire. I like the retrofit mod better than this crap. Not worth the time, effort, install, or reformat; honest truth.

@rsvb1096 This mod is not overrated, and if you would actually have read the mods forums you would know that there is now a all in one download, making the download very simple. And considering you call yourself a newb you probably shouldn't be giving advice on what the best Mod is, certainly when you suggest downloading Stainless Steel, which although it is a fantastic mod the time between turns is so ridiculous, i simply cannot play it.

Now is TLR the greatest mod you will ever play? Probably not. However it is a very well done mod with a set of features that make it quite enjoyable to play.

The biggest downside to this mod is the fact that it is not compatible with Kingdoms and therefore i choose not to play it.
