Downloadshey there guys.
I have added a unit to the list called " Kern Spear " They resemble the Irish Kerns but these guys are stronger and only use a spear to attack.
These warriors are usful against cavalry and are quick.
I have given them to the faction Ireland..but if you dont have my mod, all you need to do is change the ownership..the installation is just the text needed so you can easily change any stats you want.
The units are green in color!

I really have to say that is a beautiful unit you created! The unit probably isn't going to be very attractive to alot of people because it's a very simple spearmen(in combat wise not looks wise) But still, that is an awesome job, A+  |

hey thanks for the comment I am going to make another one today..i want this one tho to be a nice heavy spearman this time. Ive got alot of skinning ahead of me today  |

I forgot to mention. if you do decide to add this unit..make sure to do this: in M2TW/data/unit_models/battle_models.txt: at the top..there should be a 701..change that to 702..you must do this to get the unit to work...if the number is like...704..change it to 705 etc. |

heh thx! ive made another unit..its a heavy version of the kern spear..he has a shield and a spear and chainmail..iam not gonna bother upload..ill just wait till ive a new rack of units for the Irish faction and just upload them all together. |

They copied crossbows from (and used them on) the Normans so, ye they did. They weren't too keen on bows either, it was looked down on as dishonourable to shoot someone from distance with a bow to them, much prefered hand to hand combat. |

oh my mistake but the ireish are gona need some damn good infantry if there going to war with no 1.cross bows 2.gun powder 3.heavy cav (i heard that the ireish didn't fancy horses ) |

I'm Irish and back the Celtic football team, so kinda a double meaning. And ye, I kinda like the name too. |

ive been gone all week  before I left I managed to make 2 other units: Galloglass Heavy Kern Spearmen Swordsmen I will upload 2 pics...galloglass and Swordsmen are in those pics. |

I uploaded 2 more pics of two other units I made. The galloglass and the swordsmen. I hope to make a bunch of Irish units for the Irish mod and release a nice proper irish mod with its own set of units and banners and the like! |

At the moment thats a no, iam not working on much at the moment until after the patch. I want to release a ireland and wales mod with there own units and a self extracter so no one has any issues. If I were to make another faction, ive no idea where to start! |
