ZEPHRELIAL'S THE TEUTONIC ORDER MOD v1.2
This is the v1.2 of the Teutonic Order mod and perphaps the final version.
This mod is dedicated to the Teutonic Knights,may they rest in peace...

v1.2 CHANGES
-Teutonic strat banners(banners that the captain and general models are carrying) is changed from Saxon banner to the Teuton banner.
-Now Papal States is not overaggressive.(defends its own territory do not expand).
-Now Teutonic Order starts allied with HRE.
-Changed the diplomatic demeanor of the factions against eachother.(Rival factions more hostile towards eachother england-france;friendly factions are more positive towards eachother.)
-New campaign models for Teutonic General,Captain,Princess,Diplomat,Spy,Merchant,Assassin.
-New Teutonic unitcards for spies,diplomats,merchants etc.
-New unit "Teutonic Nobles" added,available at the military academy.
-Armor upgrade available for "Teutonic Nobles".(from partial plate to full plate)
-Changed the textures of the "Teutonic Knights" from being HRE textures to Teutonic textures.(for all 3 armour levels of Teutonic Knights).
-Rearranged the availability of the units according to buildings properly.
-In custom battle Teutonic Order units can be classified according to the Early,High and Late eras like every other faction.
-Teutonic loading screen logo added.
-Teutonic Battle UI logo added.
-Changed the religion of "The Mongols" faction from Islam to Pagan.
-Order of the Dragon added to HRE.
v1.2 FIXED BUGS
-Teutonic Strat banner and Timurid strat bannel alpha channels properly fixed.So no more sticker looking banners.
-Teutonic priest displayed with the English priest model.
-Castle-to city conversion and vice versa option being unavailable.
-In the Islamic factions Saxon small logo displayed instead of Teutonic small logo.
-HRE's "Imperial Knights" and "Dismounted Imperial Knights" using Teutonic textures.
-Teutonic Order not being at war with rebels.
-Hermann Von Salza name seen in other factions.
-The name "Henry" can not be seen since it is close to the right panel.
-Wrong unit info description of General's Bodyguard.
-"Hohenmeister" in texts changed to "Hochmeister" which is the right meaning in German.

V1.1 CHANGES:
-Added the Teutonic Order logo into the campaign map(small and large versions).
-Adds the new unit "Great Cross" to the Teutonic Faction.It's available from Cathedrals.
Added General recruitment feature for the Teutonic Order from my General and Eras mod.(early and late both versions available.)
-Retextured the unit "Teutonic Heavy Inf",gave them two-handed claymores instead of longswords.
-Improved Teutonic War banners,fixed the faction leader's banner's cross being horizontal instead pf vertical.
-Added proper family tree and members to the faction.
-Added Teutonic Cardinal,Diplomat and Princess.
-Changed hochmeister Hermann Von Salza's portrait to another one that resembles the real Salza more.
-Added many different traits to Hermann Von Salza.
-Added Teutonic Order faction strenghths and weakness to the faction selection screen.
-Added unique Teutonic map.tga to the faction selection menu,teutonic territory to everyother faction playable on the faction selection screen.
-Added Teutonic Order's special unit picture tga(German Knights). into the faction selection screen.
-Added unique unit info picture tga.s of the Teutonic Order units.
-Rebalanced Teutonic Order faction units's costs and upkeeps.
V1.1 FIXED BUGS:
-Being unable to build ships.(reported by Polack)
-Being unable to build churches in the castle-typed settlements.(reported by Polack)
-The portraits of HRE Emperor Heinrich his sons Henry,Leopold being changed somehow.The portrait of King of France Philipp being changed the sameway.
-Wrong unit descriptions.
-Some missile type units having features from my passive AI Bugfix mod.
V1.0
-Adds the faction "The Teutonic Order" into the game.
-Doesn't take out any faction out of the game so now there are 22 factions playable.
-Adds Prussia as the starting position of the Order in the Grand campaign mode.
-Featuring 26 retextured new units, most of them are unique.
-Faction Available in Custom Battles.
-Unique texture of the Grandmaster's of the order,within the General's bodyguard unit.
-Unique Teutonic War banners.
-Unique unitcards and descriptions.
-Features the units "Teutonic Crusaders", "German Knights", "Hohenmeister Guard","Imperial Longbowmen" ,"Prussian Spearmen" and more...
-Fully compatible with other mods including Burrek's unique European's.
V1.0 FIXED BUGS
-The adopted Teutonic General dies instantly.(copy the file export_descr_unit.txt and paste it over the same file inside the data folder).
-Problems loading the campaign mode.
-Probable somehow missing General's bodyguard texture in campaign.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
It came to my attention that some people saw the Teutonic units as invisible.The main reason for that is probably using the modswitch so for getting everything you see in the features section of the mod,please apply the installation instructions properly.
2-It is essential to run the Teutonic Order mod provided that you unzip into your VANILLA(ORIGINAL) medieval2 folder NOT your mymod folder.
3-Extract the Teutonic Order you have downloaded into your medieval2 folder of your mtw2 game.
4-Run the game from medieval2 exe.
UNPACKING THE FILES WITH CA'S PATCH V1.1 UNPACKER IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THE MOD TO RUN.
DO NOT FORGET to delete the following files,if you haven't already:
Due to a timestamp check, the following unpacked files will
cause the game to crash and must be deleted before the game is
launched:
data\descr_geography_new.txt
data\descr_geography_new.db

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The mod is pretty much complete so I guess this is probably the final version.Enjoy!
PERMISSION
This mod is for Personal Use, cannot take place within other mods and is under the branch of "Clouds Across Europe Mod"
along with Kingom of Jerusalem,Orthodox Patriarch,Order of The Dragon,Eastern Princesses,Eras and General,BattlePassive AI Bugfix mods.

Since there are maximum of 21 facitons being available in Custom Battle Mod,I had to write "no" to the custom battle availability of the AZTECS faction,to enable The Teutonic Order in the Custom battle.
If you wish to play with the Aztecs in the custom battle,open the "sm_factions.txt" found in the medieval 2/data folder and find there the SAXONS, change custom battle availability to "no" then find the AZTECS and change the custom battle availability from "no", to "yes".

Can i get more than one mod??......... (stupid question but keep read plz) for example i have PORTVCALE mod in my cpu that includes several new faction (9) and i whant to have more that arent include in that mod and are in some mods around here like the teutonic order faction (i really whant to get them and i saw someguys telling that they have .......5 new factions in game Fredderix March 19, 2007 at 06:31 PM so far iv added 5 new factions and im on the look out of a sweeden or norway how can i/he have more than one mod faction in game and put more without take the changes of the old one out and still be able to play with them and more ??? please answer me PORTVCALE MOD is AWESOME the game is in 2 version one in portuguese the other in english some changes : merchants give more money movement points are 2X more cavalary attack directly disbanded units new regions : coimbra , guimarães , silves , murcia , barcelona , pisa , lund , athens and a lot more the citys/castles in europe are now with a faction on it (exept rennes) and others in middle east sahara desert isnt able to go trough to timbuktu Arguin cant only be conquered when the message WORL IS ROUD comes Princess bug of lack of charme is fixed and the trait Secret Love is reduced More units available 9 new factions : Russia is now 2 factions : Kievan Rus and Novgorod Cumans in Are in north of the Black sea lithuanians in riga and vilnius spain as been divided to : castille and leon , aragan and navarre , Boemia in Wien Pisa with the new city of pisa , cagliari and ajjacacio Genoa with the city of Genoa And my favorite the Crusaders in Jerusalem (capital) acre, Aleppo and Antioch (they speak french but theyr agents (only agents) have muslim faces but theyr generals have european names and images and theyr troops are crusaders troops like dismount crusaders knights , crusader knights , and the holy cross and more naval disembarks by enemys (cool when playing england or scotland) now find the other things by yourself : http://twcenter.net/forums/downloads...o=file&id=1218 |
