Ha! Thanks, man. Basically, all I do is get it layered a few times a year. Assuming you have short hair, give it a few months and let your hair grow a few inches. When it begins to get a bit ratty, go to your hair dresser/barber and tell them you want to layer it. They're gonna take the hair on the top layers and chop it so it's shorter than the hair underneath. That way you get a good even look. It's long, but it has life to it. Nothing is more unattractive to a girl than a guy with dead and unkept long hair. It's all about maintenance. Keep up with it, and your golden. When you begin to get dead ends and your bangs hang in your face, just get it all trimmed the next time you go to get your hair re-layered.
