Yes dear friend super-wonderful units, late Lombards were more Byzantinized (Byzantinized? what a word I created!)! You are doing great, really great things!.....When you find some time, look in their movies and images searching also for Vikings!...You'll find wonderful Vikings' images!..There I found this video, take it like a way to celebrate your work!!!
So looking over these pictures (couldn't find too many...) their lombards would have been an earlier time than ours, probably during the Lombard kingdom. I have the lombards using more advanced, Byzantine-like lamellar. See here; Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
