Can I assume that my character has made a knife and buff jacket into lesser wonders? The cost of a knife is 0, the cost of a buff jacket is 1, the cost of me making them into lesser wonders is 0. If I spent the minimum amount of time working on them, it would have taken me 60 days to have done it.
As an aficionado of all things American...I approve of it's unnecessary hugeness. There is no replacement for displacement. No such thing as overkill.
That nexus map is unnecessarily large. It could perform the same job at half the size.

I will enjoy annoying Cam with not using the instrument all the time. I anticipate saying "Nah, I was just humming to myself, not playing the lute" a lot.

My patron is my father. From the description it sounds like he doesn't come around a lot (which is the intent). And indeed, I probably do not even know who he really is or what he is. He was young when he sired me, just having reached Essence 4 and gained the ability to sire half-castes. Its probable that he either sired me because he was interested in the possibilities, or (far more likely) accidentally sired me while in deep cover in the city. My mother died in child birth, and he placed me in one of the more 'special' orphanages, stopping by occasionally as I grew up. In one of our short meetings he taught me how to channel my essence (the charm I have) more productively. Indeed the Artifact was a gift from him, pretty much the only thing hes really done for me. He comes to me in the form of a wizened old man, usually asking me all sorts of questions about the people I've met and places I've been. Obviously, he using me to gather intel on stuff happening in the parts of the city that I frequent, which is everywhere since I'm an exceptionally talented musician. I am a bit of a disappointment to him though, he heard stories of much more powerful and useful half-castes. He is bothered by the fact that I don't show any kind of power aside from my awakened Essence, and has assumed that this is because he was so young when he sired me, so he doesn't bother contacting me very often.
Seems fine. Who is your patron? Where did you get the artifact from? Those are good things to define.

If you still decide that its a no, then all that I'll change is list 6 categories of things for Lesser wonder instead of having the full degree. Which, of course just means that I'll wait to get 2 XP and learn the rest of the degree. On the other hand, I could get rid of it and take a 2xp debt to pay off the thalmaturgy later. I was debating some effect for the instrument based on a roll, but couldn't think of anything, if you come up with something that'd be awesome.
