Alright, just let me know when you're ready to upload. Are you going to send your files to me and let me merge our fixes + Ngugi's sound into an installer? I think my upload speed is also considerably better as well but it's up to you
just hold on to the files for a while.. i am creating something new which should be finished on friday evening in meantime try to fix as many bugs as you can.. major and knavis both posted some in the thread, also the CS does not recognize the rangerking trait somehow.. perhaps a file is wrong somewhere. right now i'm creating some interesting superunits with a script, hit a snag so will fix that on friday and then we have something new in MOS.
Hey Hero, when do you want the next patch to come? I've got Ngugi's latest soundfixes and he said he wouldn't be making any more for a while for everyone's sake. I've fixed Gondor diplomat.. Is dunland supposed to be able to recruit ships? If so which ones? The same ones the good factions use? (cog, holk, etc) Would you prefer we go ahead and get this patch out or hold off a while and gather more bug reports? The 1.12 patch was more or less a temporary solution so there would just be 2 downloads again. Now that we got N's fixes we can get another patch out. Maybe name it 1.2 this time.. And updated all 3 EDUs and was about to tell you the sound files are broken. I'm not going to include his 'sounds' folder files (SOUNDS.idx, SFX.dat, etc.) but I will include his EDU and .txt file changes. I went ahead and updated his EDU changes so he won't have to work on that again for now and can focus on just the sound. The .txt files didn't break anything and we have our BFME gondor voices back again. Yes, I've been taking care of all 3 EDU as well so won't need the upload as I've already updated them with mine, yours, and Ngugi's I will let you know when the link is up.
ps await a fix from ngugi mate, right now campaign script is broken due to missing sound event files or a wrong pathway, don't know exactly , just figured it out
Ngugi forgot the to update the CG launcher folder.. so i edited the EDU's myself to make sure Ngugi and my stuff both work http://www.gamefront.com/files/21633900/Third_Age_3.rar don't forget to make your changes in all 3 edu's
ow and would you mind taking extra care of the CG-launcher folder. the edu's indide also needs updating. the CC edu needs to be the same as the normal edu in the data folder. the CB edu is different because each hero unit gets an officer with the unique character model and custom battle is turned on. otherwise the files need to be updated to the last edu's everytime
On mobile so short.. go for it mate could you perhaps also make those battle ready dunrdain stat changes? Grtz
Good show mate Also done some extensive bugfixing me self before I downloaded 1.11. Arnor could not be restored because the line in the campaign script that read: RangerKing should have been RangerKing2. Tested this and that fixed it. Shall I compile 1.1, 1.11, my fixes and make a 1.12 with an installer (so we just have 2 downloads again, 1.0>1.12) Will also throw in Ngugi's sound/music/voice fixes since we're getting hotfixes out so fast and making him go crazy Your call. I can have it all put together in no time, 1.12 wil include: 1.11, my bugfixes (especially the Arnor bug and many other fixes as well that are vital to other aspects of the mod), and Ngugi's sound fixes for 1.11 all in 1 so we just have 1 big patch instead of many smaller ones
