I tried. I even tried to sleep on an old mattress in my basement. There is no hiding from the sonic boom that is three younger sisters stuck in the same house. Even listening to them walk around is like a herd of elephants. As for the rest, I don't see what your problem with it is. It's more of a nostalgic thing, you see. Think Kolchak, Denikin, etc.
