  1. I am cautiously optimistic about Rome 2. A few of the features they are adding sound pretty good like the changes to navies and whatnot and the game certainly looks great graphically. However I am still worried about things like what they are doing with the campaign map and the fact that they seem to be excluding some of the biggest factions from being playable (I cant believe the Seleucid Empire isn't playable - surely they are the biggest faction at the start of the game). I imagine some of the factions will also be "pre-order" dlc, which will mean we will have to miss out being able tos use certain factions.

As for Derby County - I think mid table is the best we can manage this season, which will be fine just so long as someone manages to knock Nottm Forest out of the playoffs . There should be a good game on Monday against Leeds though, which I'm quite looking forward to.

I've lapsed a bit with the ES - i've not really had much time for content or anything like that, but maybe sometime in the future if I get a bit more time I can start again.

Haha, dont worry about the Rome pics. Hopefully some day soon I will manage to go and see the sites of Rome with my own eyes (maybe if I win the lottery )
  2. Yeah i have followed the RII news, mostly from the office computer as i too am very busy, too busy to be really active with posting and such.
I am having my doubts about the game as in that i fear that it will be too much dumbed down to please the popcorn crowds so to speak, but hey,i will defenitely pre/order it and buy a brand new pc system for it. What do you think?

Yeah i am fine mate,so is the family, and you, still on tour with Derby C ? Maybe they still can reach the playoffs? How is the ES going? Still on the payroll?
Oh and i still havent posted that Rome pictures damn....You gotta know that they are on my wifes laptop and it will cost me ages to post them from there. So again my apologies but to be honest they are not that special, its just us on the forum, colosseum etc etc hahaha, you know just ordinary holiday pictures hehe...
  3. Hey mate. I'm pretty good - I've had a lot of work to do recently, so I haven't to been able to visit TWC much (and I seem to be having trouble even connecting to the site atm), but apart from that everythings great. How about you? Everything ok with you? Have you been following the Rome2 news?
  4. How are you mate, long time no speak!!

  5. Happy New year! An extensive PM will follow soon to catch up my friend, but i have been so busy the last month(s) i really didnt get around to do it earlier. My apologies!!~!!

  6. Merry Christmas my friend!
  7. Hey mate. I've got a lot of work to do atm, but apart from that i'm alright. How about you? Everything ok with you? I did read 1356 and thought it was really good, but I was still hoping for a book to conclude the Saxon series instead (hopefully that will be his next one!). Did you read Simon Scarrows newest book (Sword and Scimitar)? It covers the Ottoman siege of Malta (from the Knights of St. John persepctive) from start to finish and I thought it was rather excellent. Also Merry Christmas for tomorrow btw (hoepfully we will both get some more good books to read!)
  8. Hi Tom,long time no speak. How are you ? have you read 1356 already ? I have and it is a great one again.
  9. I didn't get to see Hadrians wall, but I did get to see the city walls of York, which were pretty awesome - as well as several castles and lots of viking stuff . Also I believe Derby v Forest is on tv next week although I don't think it is on the BBC (hopefully it wont be cancelled again like last year.)
  10. Hadrians Wall
