Er, well, what I meant by "rely on magic to exist" is that they could not exist without magic; for instance, they all look the same, only being able to recognize each other by sensing a 'magic signature' of sorts, and other such things. So I would need to make some rather major changes if I wanted to use them as they are right now. Although, after looking at some of my old notes from earlier in the summer, I think I might be able to use an edited older version of them as it seems they had little to do with magic back then. As for the spreadsheet thing, sure, I will participate. I will pm my email account to you in a moment.
Yeah... Anyways, I'm sure you can still use that faction...with some minor changes of course. About the magic dependency thing, maybe you can change into a form of mana that your people believe in as the essence of their existence. Oh and I hope your people aren't fairies or something....cause that would be a no no. You can have elves though, in my game you can have long eared people, I don't mind Btw I'm holding clinical trials for my Spreadsheets, would you like to participate? I just need help with balancing it, the prices may be too expensive If so PM me your email account.

Sorry about not being here for, well, the entire summer, like I said I would, but I regressed back into being an occasional lurker here after a WA or FA failed to materialize. I might play in the WA that is forming now, but I am not entirely sure. I wanted to use a race I created during the summer, but they are rather magical(by which I mean they rely on magic to exist) and at the moment it seems that magic will not be used in the upcoming WA.

Ha ha ha, no, I was not in jail. Anyhow, I will most likely be returning to Alliance sub forum in the summer, possibly sooner if a WA, FA, or NA start up soon.

I thought you were in jail or something But I don't think the lack of sub forums are stopping people, its just that no one aside from the ruling elite has the time and the ability to make a good game. Nothing much, I am afraid. I have just been doing the same old things that I have been doing the past few months. I do see that there is some activity about WA going on, with Nico posting his potential rule set and Sidmen post that map and all, so I do hope that it will get somewhere. On a somewhat related note, in my humble opinion it seems to me that with the NA and FA forums gone and thus preventing people from trying to start up new games in those forums without contacting an administrator, people are focusing more on SA and WA. Of course, I might just be misinterpreting facts with that one.
