its just the thought of 'regiments' which brings to mind nice neat squares of troops. you can just say. 'i want you to have three thousand men at your command'. you don't have to be all like 'i want you to have three thousand men, formed into three regiments of a thousand men each' guess its just terminology. Plus without set terms if i want to rp it as knights under my command each with say one hundred men i can. Where as you can rp your armies as being regiments, and mythre can rp them as something else.
