Yea, they will probably replace it with a professional army. I'd rather have 10,000 conscripts than 3,000 professionals, though. It depends on where you live. In the southernmore parts, it's definitely worth it. Awesome girls and such. It's quite expensive, though. I'll check the news today if they mention it. WOuld be weird if they didnt.

We have conscription up here, so the only way for me to join the army 100% is if I become an officer, which I have no plans to do, yet. We'll see later on. Firefighting overall is very difficult to get accepted to. You need very good grades from school, a very good physique, etc. Actually, I got to know about the Aussie bushfires from TWC. The news hasn't relayed anything, which is odd.

It's very difficult to get into urban firefighting in Australia, is this the same in Sweden? I hate those people. Nah, right now I'm doing excersises with the firefighters, but as of July 27, I'm doing military duty for 327 days, then I'm off to firefighter training again.
