  1. That's perfectly O.K. ... I know when I am being ignored Your confidence and words are helpful, no doubt, but I wouldn't want a Commie as my Godfather.
  2. I see your question is answered - good to know. I'm sorry for not answering, I've had internet connection problems. And I'm sure you can find a godfather, I think he doesn't need to be an Orthdox (though I'm not sure) judging from my grandparent's godfather who was a communist.
  3. I hate to bother you with such a trivial matter, friend, but I have a question regarding Greek. As I am converting to Orthodoxy, I will need to have an understanding of that ancient language. My request to you is: how do you type, in Latin script, the Greek verb for "I believe"? It is credo in Latin, and I believe something to do with dokeo (δοκέω) in Greek.

I would really like to use something like that as my new username, once I find a Godparent/sponsor for my conversion. I have already taken steps to change my given name and surname to reflect my saints' feast days. All I need is a proper username which reflects my heartfelt entrance into Christ's faith!
  4. Thanks . I'm Greek Orthodox, but without a passion. I just try to not be jerk and/or bad etc. and leave the rest aside.
  5. Hello, my friend. I see that your posts in my Orthodox conversion thread are heartfelt. Thank you for the good and interesting replies. Are you actually Orthodox, or simply a Greek person?
  6. oh, that one, yes! Well, it is true , and I think anyone can learn many things about RL and the way politics function from the Curia and TWC in general. I wish you a pleasant stay while in the Curia!
  7. Thank you, but I can't remember what discussion are you talking about?
  8. Hello, sir! I quite enjoyed your reply to Obi Wan Asterix's worries about the Curial reform movement, back in May. Reading over it, I am inspired by the fact that you learned so much from this forum. Perhaps we young Citizens can learn from it, too!
