I developed a working lore, but yeah, I had similar thoughts to having a more Latin-based Confederacy with a possible annexation of, or at least union with, Mexico in the works. EDIT: I don't.
It depends on how many states I have. I'd like to develop the lore for the CSA, potentially with a party that's more inclusive to Latinos and maybe blacks that has worked on trying to get the Mexican provinces, Cuba, Haiti, Dominican, and Central American added as states (with successes here and there depending on who wins each election).
