I have a teenage daughter in the U.S.(with a lass I dated for a short time way back when) and two boys who are currently in England with my soon to be ex-wife. We were married in the U.S. and had a prenuptial agreement. As of October last year the UK recognises those agreements. I'll have the houses(both in Belfast and the U.S.), all the vehicles, and 95% of the money. I'm quite likely to get custody of the boys.
I think you mentioned that you had kids somewhere; will you get to see them after your divorce is final?
I appreciate it boyo. As to how things are...it's day to day. Somedays I love life and the freedom of being a relatively wealthy divorcee and others I hate it as my life plan included a full family.
