It's my humble opinion that the Curia and, though to a lesser extent, the administration from time to time display an unhealthy fascination with bureacracy and the status it gives to its officials. The Curia rarely does anything useful though. The administration have come to realise this and are open to initiatives from people who mean business.
I think there is an elitist feeling behind it or even worse a selfish movement to make it restrictive. Which is ridiculous because people will find their ways to make the questions, but in an poorer way for all the community.
Oh I do occasionally visit the Curia to see what it's interfering with this time. I could not fail to see this thread! But I don't get worked up as much about things like this anymore. I gave my opinion in the curial commentary thread. The way I see it, the summit is a matter between CA and (primarily) warscape modders. TWC admins can provide the forum infrastructure to allow modders to prepare for the summit. So where does the Curia fit in?
You cannot see how much I understand you, take a look to that thread and you will understand.
Hey, Used to be, but I gave it up a few years ago. Matter of principles
