come back u
I wanted to stir up stuff a little, and I thought it was an interesting subject. It's a shame nobody in that thread is capable of learning. "NAZIS DON'T OWE YOU SHIIIII!"
for someone as bright as u, the debt thread is not a good one.
and of course, I always say "your personality is great" too
dont wanna be a fellow ivy leaguer? Ya you are right, go for the superivsor and the specific program that is renowned and suits your interests, not for the name of the school. And canadian universities are a lot cheaper too, if you don't think paying 50k USD a year is worth it, you should stick with the high quality canadian schools too. UBC isn't bad. A good friend of mine is doing her PhD there now, enjoying the beach scene while studying with a world class prof while paying almost nothing (thanks to all the government grants and scholarship).
Bushbush, please tell me you have complimented a girl with "her writing is very beautiful." http://engrishfunny.com/page/10/
UC Berkeley or MIT all the way. Though tbh it all depends on the supervisor. Canada has some good universities as well and that would spare me the GRE. I honestly have no idea; even industry seems tempting right now.
and i take back what i said about state universities . Some of them are actually quite good. Texas A&M, Michigan, Berkeley, UCLA are all public universities but they are not any bit inferior than ivy league private universities.
shouldn't you be getting ready to apply for schools now? Which schools do you have in mind? and what program r u interested in?
Man, you should drop out and start your own company. Then you can be your own boss.
