Yes I guess he was criticized quite heavily for his pre-WWII policies. It's just hard not to have a high opinion of him after WWII.
Haha well, the other Roosevelt basically did a spray and pray tactic. So many of the programs he did were unconstitutional. He really had no clue what he was doing. But at least he was doing something I guess.... Teddy on the other-hand, found the perfect balance between laissez-faire economics and government interventionism. Breaking up the bad trusts, but retaining the good ones.
I don't know, I think the other Roosevelt could give him a run for his money.
